Track your bonus caps and which card to use: Tudlab Money
How this works
What each section means
- You can apply now: by the bank's own rules, your answers qualify you for the bonus shown today (the new-customer bonus, or a smaller existing-customer one where the card says so). Approval is still up to the bank.
- Check the terms yourself: we could not confirm the bank's rule on its own website, or the rule depends on something you haven't told us (such as which exact card you cancelled). We don't guess.
- Not yet: by the bank's rule you don't qualify. "Opens by <month>" means you qualify by that month at the latest while the offer still runs; "Not in this offer" means not before it ends, including when you hold a card there now and cancelling it couldn't make you new in time.
The new-customer rule
Most banks pay the full bonus only to "new" customers: people who don't hold one of the bank's cards now, and haven't cancelled one within a set number of months (for example 12 or 24). Each bank sets its own clock. We show the rule and quote the bank's wording on every offer.
You give us a month, not a day. So we count from the start of the month after the clock runs out, which is always safe. If the clock ends this month, we say so: you may be eligible a little earlier, depending on the exact day you cancelled.
Supplementary cards: some banks count them and some don't, whether you hold one now or cancelled one. Pick the supplementary options on the form if that's what you had, and we apply each bank's own wording. Where a bank's wording is unclear about supplementary cards, we say so instead of guessing.
Each bank, and sometimes each promotion, sets its own rule. So two offers from the same bank can give different answers.
Where the data comes from
Each offer comes from the bank's own terms and conditions, linked on the offer. Blogs and comparison sites were used only to find offers, never as the source. If we could only find an offer's terms somewhere other than the bank's own website, the offer says so in a yellow note at the top, and we never give a yes for it. Offers were last checked on the date shown. Offers change without notice and expired offers hide themselves.
Some banks also shut out anyone with an account of theirs (card, bank, loan or investment) that was ever closed, suspended or left dormant (UOB), or that is closed, suspended, inactive or in arrears during the promotion (Citi). For those banks there's a tick box: tick it only if the statement is true for you. Until you tick it, those offers can't be a yes: they go to "Check the terms yourself" (or stay "Not yet" where your cards already rule you out). If your own answers contradict the box, we ignore the tick. If you tell us you cancelled a principal card there (UOB: ever; Citi: during the promotion), the bank's wording, read literally, rules you out, so we show "Not in this offer"; ask the bank if you think it shouldn't apply to you.
A few banks count the clock to the day your new card is approved, not the day you apply. Where that could change the answer, we say so.
What we don't do
Rough value: each offer shows an estimate in S$, worked out the same way for every card. Miles count at 1.5 cents each, cash back at face value, and a gift at the retail value the bank states. Any annual fee you must pay for the bonus is taken off. Your own value may be higher or lower (a gift you would not buy is worth less). It is an estimate, not advice, and it does not change the order.
We don't rank or recommend cards. Offers you can apply for are sorted by deadline, soonest first; "Not yet" offers by the month they open. "Check the terms yourself" and "Not yet" offers are folded to one line each: tap one to open it. This is general information, not financial advice. Credit cards charge high interest if you don't pay the full balance each month, so only apply for a card you'd use and can pay off.
Privacy
Your answers are never sent to us. We keep no cookies and no record of you. If you tick "Remember my answers on this phone", they are saved in this browser only (its local storage), so the page can show what changed next time; untick the box to delete them. We count only totals per day: page opens, and Apply taps per offer. We don't store IP addresses or names.
Reminders
"Remind me" buttons make a calendar file on your phone, with one all-day event: the day a blocked offer opens for you, or 7 days before an offer ends. Open it to add it to your calendar. Nothing is sent to us, and the offer may have changed by then, so check again on the day.
